10 сентября над Вашингтоном (округ Колумбия) и прилегающими к нему районами штатов Мэриленд и Вирджиния внезапно образовалась медленно движущаяся полоса ливней. В некоторых районах выпало до 20 см осадков, сообщает The Washington Post.
В результате оказались подтоплены улицы населенных пунктов и дороги. Помощь спасателей потребовалась десяткам автомобилистов.
