Первый месяц лета преподнес неожиданный сюрприз в американском штате Вайоминг, входящий в группу так называемых Горных штатов. Туда вернулась зима. Причем снегопад, сопровождавшийся сильным ветром, был таким сильным, что пришлось закрывать автомобильные трассы между городами Шайенн, Ларами и Арлингтон. Кроме того, выпущено предупреждение об опасности повреждения и обрушения под тяжестью снега линий электропередачи и деревьев.

I-80 between Laramie and Chey., WYO 210 (Happy Jack Rd.) & U.S. 287 south of Laramie are all closed this a.m. due to wintry conditions. Estimated opening time is in 1-3 hours.
