17 марта сильный шторм и крупный град обрушились на некоторые районы американского штата Техас. В городе Форт-Уэрт размер градин был сравним с мячами для гольфа, сообщает CBS DFW. В местном зоопарке погибли 7 фламинго, пеликанов и уток. Несколько птиц ранены.
Из-за ликвидации последствий стихии открытие зоопарка, где наблюдается наплыв посетителей во время весенних каникул, пришлось задержать на 2 часа, что привело к образованию больших очередей.
